// brief
Across multiple updates I contributed a connected set of combat assets to Solar Conquest II: a heavy-class quadruped Mobility Suit, a tracked SPAAG, and a modular Automated Turret family. Each had to read clearly at distance on Roblox's lighting model, fit the existing fleet language, and stay under the studio's part-budget ceiling.
// process
- 01Mobility Suit: blocked the silhouette for readable shoulder bulk and a low-profile cockpit, then re-meshed for Roblox's part limits and baked detail into texture rather than geometry.
- 02SPAAG: studied the existing fleet for proportional language; built tracks and chassis as reusable kits that have since been re-skinned for additional vehicles.
- 03Turret family: designed a single base node with swappable light, balanced, and heavy head modules, limited to two metals and one emissive accent so faction tuning is a single swap.
- 04Wired rigs into the studio's existing animator and validated everything against live combat scripts.
// outcome
All three asset lines are integrated and functional in-game. The Mobility Suit shipped on the seasonal banner and remains a top-equipped unit; the SPAAG was cited by the community as the air-war update's standout addition; the turret family is in active use across dozens of player-built bases.
